Re: TK1 vs TX1

Re: Rigorous, scientific pocketing?
I just watched their tutorial video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGOK-gqtCqM) for this, and it looks amazing! I have used SolidThinking Inspire (http://www.solidthinking.com/Inspire2016.html)(a...

Re: Let's Talk About Your Team's Computers
I have no idea, I'm just an alumni. To be honest, you probably don't want them. They have hardware failures all the time. You would spend a ton of time and money replacing stuff when it breaks.

Re: CAD laptop help
Check to make sure that it has the ability to add more RAM. The specs say "onboard" which might mean that it is soldered to the motherboard.

Re: CAD laptop help
I would not be as concerned with the 2GB of VRAM as I would be about the 8GB of system RAM. 2GB VRAM should be fine for anything done in FRC. 8GB of system RAM is the bare minimum that I would put...

Re: Team Trying to Implement CAD
Pick the one that your mentors use most. If none of your mentors use either, and you can't decide, then flip a coin. They are both great programs.

I really like the show format so...

Re: To advertise or not, that is the question
When our trailer was broken into in 2013, the police officer that responded told us to leave the trailer blank. His view was that advertising "robotics" means "expensive stuff inside" to thieves.
