Re: How many points?

I agree, some parts of it is very hard to see because of the camera. Autonomous appears to be scored correctly, although, the first cycle never was scored. There was a double assist for blue with a...

Re: How many points?

No challenge was made, because the alliance we were on it would not have changed the outcome, and more importantly, I didn't realize it until now while I was watching some of the matches.

Re: Variable thrower

Re: What do you think is going to be the most common foul this season?

Like you said, possessing the opponents ball, and also G40, I think human players are going to accidentally cross the line and get a technical foul. I've heard it's been a big problem at week 1...

Re: Defense

One team that played very good defense last year was team 4054. They don't have a youtube page, but there are videos on the blue alliance of them.

Re: Bizarre cRIO Server Errors (FDIO)

We had the same problem at our scrimmage. Sad to say, but we didn't figure out the problem when we were there.

Re: Help in Driving Straight

2 problems our team found:
As mentioned before, calibrate your talons (if that's what you're using).
Second, make sure the bearings flanges inside of your gearbox is in the right orientation, so...

Re: Catapult releasing mechanism

True, the poster may have meant a different robot. With your post, I assumed you weren't familiar with Team JVN.

Re: Team 1334 Belly Pan

We also have a plasma cutter that we use, the hard thing is that if you cut it too slow, the material will begin to warp and hit the tip of the cutter, so you have to be careful with how slow you go.

Re: Question about extensions

Depends. If they intentionally try to damage your robot, it's a foul on them, but keep in mind, with your claws sticking out, that's your choice, and if someone runs into it by accident (very...

Re: AM Battery Tray Problem

Yes, this happened to us also. We just made the holes a little bit larger and spread out the bracket while we tightened it, now it's fine.

Re: Team 319 - Single Mechanism Collect and Throw

Exactly, I agree. We just do our best to stay away from springs because we know that it will bring on a more detailed inspection, like you said.
