That being said vdubs you might want to let them know that a 10k resistor works perfectly (at least it did for us).

Dont want them to use a small resistor and end up shorting the DS

for the switches

You could just place this in the "other", "default" case in the robotmain vi for basic framework
and for advanced framework in disable vi "execute" case

my code uses less switches,...

As far as i know...it should not cause any issues. Just make sure you delete the camera open.vi as well as the camera close.vi and I think it should all work fine.
