Re: Know the Rules, Read the Rules.

Re: The Woz on Dancing with the Stars!

I thought he did a good job. I have him my 13 votes. I wish he had chosen a slower dance though. I think he could have pulled off the Waltz better... hopefully he stays in.

Re: The Woz on Dancing with the Stars!

No, unfortunately he was not available. We did shoot a good luck video from the entire crowd in Boston that we are giving to him so he can give to ABC.

Re: Aluminum angle on bumpers

The problem is with graphic communication. The GDC supplies graphics in the Robot Manual to help describe what they are specifically referring to in certain rules. However, the graphics may...

Re: Driver etation ethernet port 2 died!

You can buy a replacement from AndyMark (http://www.andymark.biz/am-0269.html). You can not fix it- even if you could fix it rules prevent you from using it.

Re: pic: Anonymous Teaser #2

Thanks Brandon, posting anonymous teasers is great! All the things we can think about... east coast, west coast, international? Rookie or X year veteran? Team number?

This looks like a veteran team....

Re: pic: Kit ball vs. New ball

One has to wonder... is this the worst kids gift of all time? "Wild Time" Orbit Ball... I can imagine giving this ball to a child and having them break it in less than 2 minutes. What "wild time"...

Re: Trailer Hitch GIANT Problem...

I'm afraid you will not be able to compete this year :(

I wouldn't worry too much. Someone will post what size and hardness steel stock you need and you can cut a new one.

Re: No RSL on Digital Sidecar

Thanks Mark. I couldn't remember if the RSL was part of the bench top test. I do have to say, it is confusing that it doesn't work out of the box.

Re: Jaguar/Victor Not Getting Signal on Default Code

You should follow the the control system manual (http://www.usfirst.org/community/frc/content.aspx?id=10934)exactly. If you had, you would not have programmed the cRIO using the wireless link- you...

Re: Linux?

The cRIO runs VxWorks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vxworks), made by Wind River. The C/C++ compiler is from Wind River.

I do share your sentiment about Linux; I'm posting using Ubuntu :D

Re: Does the PD board Output 12v Stable?

No, he means the regulated 12V output can only support up to 20 watts; which is enough for the wireless bridge. The other power distribution outputs are limited by the circuit breakers (20, 30, 40...

Re: pic: Robot Bumpers

Re: Trouble connecting to cRIO?

Since I have experienced a similar issue, it sounds like this (http://forums.usfirst.org/showthread.php?t=11625). What I would do is allow it to run on your cRIO for 20 minutes. See if you experience...
