Re: FRC Spyder

Most things seem to be confused. I looked at one team that had played two matches with 60 something points in each match that had an OPR of 120. Another team with 2-1 record had -30...

Re: EV3 vs Vex IQ For Middle School

RobotC also has a graphical mode. It also is somewhat scratch-like. It is very simplified. No task control, no function definitions, no variables (this is going to be harder to get around). It...

Re: MAJOR issue with labview(NI Update Service) update

Hi Greg,
I'd like to make sure that we only upgrade LV when NI issues a FIRST upgrade.
Will unistalling NI Upgrade Service from Add/Remove eliminate the auto checks?
Is it OK for us to do that?

Thanks for posting your receive routine and thanks 254 for the original post. Is there something that we are missing?

Re: Building .EXE for Rectangular Target Example

Hi Greg,
I replaced the Open with a CAMERA REGISTRY/Open and deleted the WB routine.
It compiles and loads. I'm not at school so I can't try it. I'm headed in shortly and will let you know how it...

Building .EXE for Rectangular Target Example

I have made a number of modifications to the example. When I build a .EXE, it generates a file that will not load. It is looking for a number of files that appear to be associated with the...

Re: Single Motor Teleop/Autonomous being quirky.

It looks like you are trying to control LMotor1 using both Autonomous and Periodic Tasks at the same time. Autonomous will set LMotor1 to -1. Within 100 ms, Periodic Tasks will set LMotor1 to 0 or...

Re: How far from wall are the pyramids?

Not to quibble of 2 inches, but section 2.2.5 of the Game Manual shows the pyramid as 94 inches wide not 96. That places the front of the pyramid at 10' 2" from the alliance wall.

At CMP, try this as soon as you can. If you can't get it working, look for a volunteer in a orange ball cap. That is the Control Systems Advisor. The CSA is tasked with helping any team that needs...

Re: 2012 Field Comm. Issue Logs

It is a quad core. I don't think that we are maxing it out. I'll take a closer look in Houston next week.
