Re: Poll: What type of launcher mechanism are you using for FS?

We're trying the elastic tube (not so much for ease, but it's fun trying to build a slingshot for a 10 inch boulder)

Problem is right now it launches like 10 feet! Anyone else getting better results?

Defense Poll

I'm curious to see how this changes through the build season as designs are tested and changed.

Re: I made a simple statistical match simulator

This is actually really good for helping you determine what's possible (if you put realistic numbers in there)

I believe the low/high goal needs to be corrected. I cannot get it to do a mix of the...

Re: G11 and G28 technecalitys

Anyway here on G11.

Camping in the SP and using G11 to prevent others from contacting you is in fact G11 itself.

Secondly as a defender I can contact you without drawing a G11 on myself easily....

Re: Secret Passage

This discussion has gone farther than the original question with reading the past 5 pages. Yes, launching is illegal still, but pushing the boulder over the 1" divider is not.

We can have hockey...

Re: Secret Passage

The rule is not used quite right here.
The manual says launching is putting the ball in the air.

This does not prohibit you from using an over sized hockey stick to keep the balls on your opponents...

Re: Countdown to Bag and Tag and 2016 Kickoff

Only the first link is working for me which is showing the kickoff countdown.

I don't suppose you can make a banner for CD to use on their main page?

I hope the team continues interest in developing this...

Mentor handbook

As many people are finding out, most links directed to usfirst are broken now. There used to be a good mentor handbook that I would direct people to or refer to myself, but I can't find it...

Re: Getting our assistant principle involved

Until 2 weeks ago I was the only mentor and I'm studying for an 8 hour exam at the end of this month for my professional licence.

Big part of why I'm trying to enlist help in the first place.

Re: 2015 North Star Regional

I would say this was a great first run for our students.

On day one, our drivers were not wanting to go back out after the initial practice run. It took some encouragement at first to get them to...

Re: Competition volume

I'm actually a little concerned now. Being my rookie year with FRC, I had invited my family to stop by and see what the team had accomplish. But having two kids under 5, I'm not so sure now. :(

Re: 2220's Play/Record Macro for Autonomous

Sounds cool.

Question:
Is it easy to go back and clean up some of the commands?

Say the driver didn't go forward enough on the first try and had to bump it a little. Is it easy to adjust for one...
