Re: Best defensive robots throughout FIRST

Re: Best Robots by Age
I don't disagree that 144 was the best team to start from 1994. However, they don't exist anymore. All the teams on the list so far are currently competing.
Hey, gotta stick up for my team.

Re: Congratulations to Perfection. Team 987
They lost plenty of matches. That robot was a winning robot, but not a qualifying robot.
If I remember correctly, the rankings were based on the losing teams score. Their strategy of grabbing all...

Re: pic: Heroes of Tomorrow 2012 - HOTBot
I am really interested to know how well that arm holds up throughout the competition season.
Did it take any hard impacts from other robots? What is it designed to take?
Also, what spares have you...

Re: Polycord welding
We simply use a spackel knife, and a torch.
Secure the spackel knife in a vise. Heat it with the torch. Touch the ends of the polycord to the hot knife until they melt. Slide them up the knife and...

Re: DeWalt Drill Motor
Here's an excellent resource about interfacing FIRST legal motors with the Dewalt gearboxes.

Re: Bumper Rules
No where in that rule does it say frame perimeter. It also doesn't specify if its the vertex of the frame or bumpers.

Re: Car Nack Predicts 12-1
It wasn't official, but I remember the 2006 IRI alliance of 1114, 33, (Sorry I forget the 3rd) putting up more than 80 points in auto.
