Re: 2005 Electricals or 2006?
While the main circuit breaker is rated for 120A, it takes a significant amount of time for it to trip at that current. I seem to remember someone quoting 8 seconds at 120A, 4 at 240A, etc. ...

Re: Music at the competitions
I must say that I was impressed at both PNW and SVR by the choice of music... seemed to me at least that the classic rock and techno were the best. :) I did hear a few songs that I wouldn't have...

Re: 120 amp maxi breaker
If you look at the Kit of Parts, it lists the part number (don't remember it off the top of my head). By searching for that part number (I used Google), you find that Terminal Supply Co sells it. ...

Re: Balls bouncing out of goal
In our entire day of playing, we only had three or four shots bounce out. I'd propose that those of you who are having 50% bounce out should shoot a bit slower or tone down the spin a bit... we're...

Re: Linux handholding needed
There's a good makefile floating around for specifically this purpose - it calls wine and mcc18 properly. There are a few things you have to do to make it work - I seem to remember that I had to...

Re: The 8.2 (or 8.3) Battery Voltage Bug
We had this problem too - our workaround was to stop using structures. It seemed that even having a simple struct of a few integers would cause rampant corruption and crashing. I'd suggest that as...

Re: Week 1: Thoughts, comments
It seems to me that the intent to have a more 'full contact' game may have gone a bit too far - I have nothing against relaxing the hitting rules a bit, but it seems that now it's not being enforced...

Re: How does your auto-aim work?
The camera finds the target, then uses the pan and tilt angles to grab a pair of positioning numbers from lookup tables. Those numbers are plugged in to the PID control which aims the turret, and...
