Re: New AndyMark Product Game Hint???

.425" Seems about right for a "rubber esque" material. 2826 has used a material called linatex in the past which looks almost identical to what is pictured. We often had .125" to .25" of under sizing...

Re: Mecanum Demo-Bot Recommendations?

How crazy are you looking to get? Way back in 2010, we build a "demo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmvuXQUobQM)" bot with 15" mechanum wheels. It was quite the fun project as we had to make...

Re: Let's Talk About Your Team's Computers

Here on Wave were fortunate enough to get hand me downs from one of our sponsors, however this doesn't mean they're top of the line. Were currently sporting 5 HP Z600's with Xeon x5500's (2.66 Ghz),...

Re: FIRST 50 years ago / 50 years from now.

Although it may not be necessary, it should still be around. Where else would kids go that want to do extracurricular activities that aren't "the norm". It shouldn't go away, but be accepted just...

Re: 1241 THEORY6 2016 CAD and Prototype Resources Release

Would you be able to explain the timeline you guys went through to produce your prototype robot so quickly? How many people were involved with prototype CAD? 8 days seems incredibly quick to turn out...

Re: FRC971 Spartan Robotics 2016 Release Video

Would you be able to go in depth a little more as to your prototyping process and iteration? I noticed in the photo you had a rail on the bottom of your shooter, but your final design had none. Also...

Re: FRC971 Spartan Robotics 2016 Release Video

How did you guys go about the development of your 2 (side by side) wheeled shooter? From the outside looking in it looks fairly simple, but I would assume hours of tweaking went into it. Could you...

Re: 2016 IRI Rule Change Suggestions

Allow boulders to be able to be shot/launched/moved out of your own courtyard into the neutral zone or opponents courtyard. Penalize any scored boulders however. This would open up some new defensive...

Re: Wave Robotics Team 2826: Quickstrke

They are there to help with manipulating defenses. We are able to push the arm down and lift the "back" of the robot up to easily go over the cheval, and under the portcullis and low bar.

Re: Team Update 14 (2016)

I guess I'll chime in since I was one of the people involved with that robot. That robot was inspired by 254 yes, but mostly just the climber. In fact that robot was 33, 341, and 254 all thrown...

Re: pic: FRC2826 Wave Roboics Championship Preview

Re: Real IRI Rules Changes?
