Re: New AndyMark Product Game Hint???

Emphasis mine.

We actually cut a bunch of samples over the summer in .025" increments to test this size, and found that .425" flat-to-flat is the right number for this specific profile and material...

Re: 1.1 Pump (am-3227) Really an improvement?

Hey Allen,

We actually have run a prototype of this compressor on a full-weight robot chassis for just over an hour with two battery changes. This chassis was equipped with a pneumatic system with...

Re: pic: Its twins - prototype drives

This is cool. I definitely like the idea of trying to save interior space in the robot for mechanisms. It sure can make moving multiple or large game pieces through a robot easier.

Only one thought...

Re: Your favorite robot of all time?

233 in 2011 was probably the most influential robot to me. The sheer elegance of that robot is something I still try to emulate this day.

And that 3 tube autonomous mode was super cool.

Re: 2016 IRI Rule Change Suggestions

I'm not entirely sure how much of an 'arms race' this would cause, but I think it would be cool to see the wording of G13 to be changed to the following:

Bolded sections are changes that I am...

Re: Drivers station glass

Actually, the FIRST field perimeter does in fact use acrylic, albeit quite thick.

The AndyMark field perimeter uses polycarbonate panels, however they are thinner.

Re: Low Bar Flaps Removed at Alamo Regional

We're still using the new low bar flaps at the Greater Pittsburgh Regional, no significant damage has occurred to them.

An interesting thing; it's pretty easy to bowl a boulder into it and have it...

Removal of Low Bar Fabric

Today at the Greater Toronto Central Regional, the Field Stewards elected to remove the fabric and lower pipe from the Low Bar defense, keeping the upper frame of it on the field. They seemed to...

Re: pic: Team 1305's second robot.

What's the weight as pictured?

Looks good. I like the Intake deployment style. What constraints led to that choice, instead of an intake that folds out?

This is neat. I like the sanded-down HiGrip wheels used as spacers to keep the belts in line.

Looking forward to your test results.

2) We evaluated these tread materials with prototype versions of these wheels over...
