On a related Note, Grant was at the Silicon Valley Regional Team Social on friday wearing his Mythbusters shirt and I said Hi. He was with some team from San Francisco, but I forget the number :(.

How 1072 sets off fire alarms

When testing our shooter, we ended up hitting a fire alarm which triggered and thus forced us to temporarily evacuate the building. Part robot teaser, part fun. Heres a video (sorry for bad quality)....

It seemed that the balls put in the corner goals were then shot by team members, which would indicate that those balls are scored as the game goes on. Not sure about the center goal though

maybe unusual, but sacramento ended up being pretty hard. More teams from einstein went to sacramento than any other regional. Ive only been to two regionals though so I cant compare regionals very...

our school is very techy( yay! ) everybody in the highschool is required to have a laptop and theyre are wireless access points everywhere, we also get to use lots of fun software like mathematica...

Ya the congrats was nice. Too bad the way back didnt invovle giving mark leon easy calculus problems which he misunstood to be near impossible ones and spent the whole flight working on :).

yes, 980s autoloader method is scary good, they used it at svr very well. 118 also picked up tetras from the autoloader with distrubing ease.
