Get off ChiefDelphi, and pick up the phone, send some emails, talk to proffessors, or go into these companies.

Or just give up...and work for your dad.

Re: I'm Team Captain!

As a past captain:
I was constantly thanked and led our team to the best season yet, from being dead last to alliance captains the next year.

Being a captain for me was about being someone everyone...

Re: 900's Championship Cheesecaking Chronicles

My opinion: I support "cheesecaking" (still not the biggest fan of the term). BUT there is a difference between improving or adding a feature to a robot, versus builing a whole new robot.

At...

Re: Future Championship Poll

Of course this could change or be clarified in the future, but the way im seeing this now is: (say the champs are in detroit and houston) If my rookie team from Michigan is just lucky enough to...

Re: 2015 HINT DISCUSSION

I would be money that this hint had very little** to do with the actual game itself. I think the hint has to do with the format of how we play. The 3 vs 3 will remain, but elimination format might be...

Re: Would you like End Game back?

From a drivers standpoint (one who has driven 2011-2014), No end game was interesting. The endgame, meant a clear finish to the match. Without a endgame, there was no clear end, except for when the...

Re: Hadream Team #3075 off-season robot reveal!

That was by far, one of my favorite videos! That begining animation and intro to the robot was amazing. Please give a pat on the back to anyone that worked on that video in any form.

Re: Redesigning the Driver Station

As a small project for myself last year, I took apart the old drivers station, which was large, bulky and ugly.

I planed the whole piece of wood, to bring life back to it, get rid of the uneven...

Re: Unexpected Plays That Make the Crowd Go Wild!

This actually happened twice: We would truss the ball, and another robot on our alliance would catch the ball as they drove by completely unprepared to catch.

1st - was at the NE Groton District,...

Re: Framing with Esto Connectors

I have mentioned them often on CD. We have built 2 competition robots (2012 & 2014) and a few demo bots with these. The frames took quite a beating. 2012 - falling off the bridge alot. 2014 - the...

Re: 2014 IRI Rule Changes

I understand that it helps the Refs out ALOT! but whats stopping you from a 3 robot line? 3 robots could push any defenders and they can probably cycle fast enough to skip the truss.

Dont like that...

Re: Why is swerve so slow?

Re: $500 for a new showbot?

We built a showbot for UTC, for over 5000+.

Biggest suggestion: When working on a tight budget, given to you by others, FIRST list out all prices! It really helps when budgeting. Also with only 500,...
