That could be the case but i didn't have a standalone copy of vista to install, only the recovery partition built into the laptop. But i did have XP Tablet so i defaulted to that. Given the option...

I recently acquired a copy of Windows 7 Build 7000, and i must say i am extremely impressed. I installed it on my HP TX2000 tablet, which originally came pre-installed with Vista.

I totally agree. I have an AMD athalon 64 at 2 GHz, 1.5 gigs of ram, and an ATI Fire GL and it take 5 minutes to load!!! LOL!!! I think I’ll go use my dads Core 2 Duo Extreme
