Of course, I can see it now, something is gonna break and when the drivers get it back to the pit out comes the Duct Tape. I don't see why there was a rule in years past, it takes some serious skill...

no they said something about not liking labview or the break out board and electrical dept doesn't like wiring the break out board either, and they already have the spike code up and working...

if you take a stage out of the globe motor the motor bumps from ~80 rpm to ~480 rpm a huge increase, the only problem being that you have to mill the housing of the gearbox down...

I did bounce a battery across the room, and digital sidecars don't take too well to be dropped off of the top of the robot sitting on blocks...

we are using two globes which we have taken a stage out of the gearbox, with a CIM 3 to 1 gear reduction at the top... Tangential speed of our shooter is quite fast...

Does any one know how to seperate the globe motor from the gearbox...
This has baffled the Game Mech Dept for awhile now, and its getting a little late, so some of the members just want to throw it...
