Wow they actually increased the strength of the tower from 8 up to 10. Will be interesting to see how this affects capture rates in the qualifications.

This is an interesting point. Currently it is leaning towards the 2nd option.
Cheval, Ramparts, and Rough Terrain are all second. Sally Port was first.

I wonder if there will be an update made to the Cheval to make it sturdier. Not sure how they would do it, but requiring the Portcullis to be out there changes a lot of the strategy teams can use.

The First website just updated and it looks like Umass Dartmouth has been moved to Saturday/Sunday the 19th and 20th of March. Brings us down to just 3 Friday/Saturday events. 2 Week 4 and 1 Week 6.

FIRST actually dictates which Championship you go to and you're only allowed to go to one.
I feel like this is a step backwards for the program. More teams should be going into the district model...

At championships last year the alliance captain would submit a piece of paper to the Head Ref/FTA saying which robots would be playing in the match and which driver station they would be playing...
