Re: PSD to HTML

PSD to HTML is more of a workflow.

A designer would make a mockup in Photoshop, and that design would be passed to a web developer who would then write the CSS, HTML, and Javascript to the...

Re: Brownout Prevention?

I should point out that you also MUST wire the pressure switch into the roboRIO as well.

You can't simply hook up the spike and say in your code:

compressorRelay.Set(Forward);

It has to turn off...

Re: What Did you use for Vision Tracking?

Maybe. It streams the image over USB.

So if you could figure out a way to get the roboRIO to recognize it, you might be able to stream it back.

You might be better off letting the PixyCam do...

Re: What Did you use for Vision Tracking?

We already had our tracking code written for the Axis camera, so our P loop only had to have a tiny adjustment (instead of a range of 320 pixels, it was 5 volts), so the PixyCam swap was almost zero...

Re: What Did you use for Vision Tracking?

1771 originally used the Axis M1011 camera, and GRIP on the driver station. However we had a problem on the field, the network table data was not being sent back, and we couldn't figure it out.

We...

Re: Grip

Yes you can.

GRIP runs using Java, but it's output is through Network Tables.

You can read those values from the Network Tables in C++.

Re: pic: Stripped VexPro gear

1771 had this exact thing happen to them at the PCH DCMP.

Actually, the gear stripped, we replaced it, and it stripped again. So we replaced it, again.

The robot still managed to drive, the driver...

Re: PCH District: Kennesaw Predictions

I'm definitely looking forward to having more than ~27 teams this time.

I think it will be the most competitive event in Georgia this year, except for District Champs obviously.

As Christopher...

Re: Shorts in the pits?

Your legs are typically not next to moving chains, saw blades, etc.

Long sleeves and gloves can get caught in those.

Re: Victor SP toggling from neutral to forward when enabled

Make sure your code is declaring the right type of Victor object (Can't view your code while on my phone.)

I'd also try recalibrating the Victor, and recalibration of the joysticks. Or unplug the...

Re: Robot Communication Lost for odd reason

No Robot Code definitely means that something code wise is broken.

it might be a deploy setting. Someone more versed with LabVIEW will have to help with that part. When you imaged the roboRIO, was...

Re: Robot Communication Lost for odd reason

Do you mean that the Driver Station says "No Robot Code" until you powercycle the rio? And then it works until you fire the catapult, and it crashes back to "No Robot Code"?

If so, that's a code...

Re: Robot Communication Lost for odd reason

Do your communications come back almost instantly? If so, that indicates that your code is actually crashing. (maybe you inadvertently divided by zero, referenced an object that wasn't there, etc)

A...

Re: 2386 Bench Grinder

Just so you are aware:

If that red tape is supposed to represent the top of the low goals, that is not a valid scale. You won't be awarded points for that climb.

Re: How are teams with GoPro's connecting them to their monitors?

Our driver station board is a piece of wood, so we put wood screws through the base of the monitor and attached it that way.

Re: CPU usage idles at 80% and hits 100% when running teleop code

Try putting a Wait(0.05) at the end of your tele-op periodic.

Right now, your code just hammers through the teleop periodic. Having a tiny Wait() should bring your CPU usage down.

Re: Compressor not Receiving Voltage (Need quick help if possible, currently at regio

I'd also make sure that you have the PCM 12V input plugged into the PDP, not the VRM.

Re: How are teams with GoPro's connecting them to their monitors?

I was wrong on the price: I found my receipt, it was 19.24 for the adapter, and then $20 for a long HDMI cable (because we forgot to bring any with us)

This was the item we...

Re: Compressor not Receiving Voltage (Need quick help if possible, currently at regio

Is the switch working? Try taking it out of the PCM, and stick 2 wires into the PCM pressure switch port. See if you get voltage coming out, and then short the 2 wires together, and see what the...

Re: Compressor not Receiving Voltage (Need quick help if possible, currently at regio

If you stick a multimeter into the PCM compressor ports, do you see any voltage?

Is your pressure switch hooked up correctly?
