Re: LabVIEW reentrant VIs

Thank you all very much for your replies. However, the issue turned out to be much more grave. The 5V analog in rail was only supplying a maximum of .3 volts  :ahh:  ! We tried our...

Re: LabVIEW reentrant VIs

I am choosing "Preallocated clone reentrant execution". I'll upload the code as soon as I can, should be late sometime tonight. I barely have enough time to post this now. Thanks!:)

LabVIEW reentrant VIs

Team 316 has discovered a very recent problem with our potentiometers. We use LabVIEW to program the robot and have two pots on the robot, one for our shooter angle, and one for our pickup arm. We...

Re: Creative Defense Names

I once saw a head ref call the rock wall the 'rock wall' because it is the only one with quotes around it. Does anybody know why that is? ::rtm::

Re: Westtown MAR District Won on Eliminations Tiebreaker Rules

I believe that they added this rule as a precaution for Worlds. I know that in the Archimedes finals there was a match in this situation and if it were to be replayed, then it would've set the whole...

Re: Looking for list of workshops at Champs

Last year there was an abundance of seminars that were all very informative. There is this (http://www.firstchampionship.org/championship-schedule#block-block-59) website. You're gonna want to look...

Re: Nice PID explanation video

As someone who was spent hours on end looking at PIDs until I barely grasped the concept, THANK YOU! :)

Re: MAR Competitions

The judges are definitely doing their best with a complicated game with many moving parts. I remember when I reffed an FLL competition and was wracked with fear that I made a bad call. But if I did,...

Re: "Quotes" that were said during build season

As the sole Pennsylvanian on a New Jersey team, this was said to me:
"Pennsylvania is a s**t school!"
Followed by much laughter by everyone.

Re: Vision- Tracking High Goals

When you process the image, do you use and RGB system to filter the image or HSL. An RGB system singles out a specific color and HSL filters out hue, saturation, and luminescence. HSL is bit easier...

Re: can the 2015 dlink be reprogrammed for 2016

We have been using the 2015 router with a 2016 RoboRio. I believe that we re-flashed the router using the new bridge configuration tool. I'm not sure though, I can get more information on Tuesday....

Re: A new Outreach Idea by an FLL team- The Cookie Monsters

It's pretty ironic that you can't recycle the FLL boards in a game called Trash Trek. Still, I think it's a great idea but the game board link took me to a 404 on Dropbox's website. Also, I couldn't...

Re: 2073 Two wheel Boulder chucked prototype

Thanks! I feel like a lot of times will take this approach but hey, if it wasn't good then a lot of teams wouldn't use it.

Re: Bowling

No rules against it but the main problem that we saw was that kicking it caused the ball to bounce too much, making it hit the top of the hole in the wall. As for bowling, after 5 minutes of practice...

Re: Team Standards Design

I used Google's Google drawing part of Drive. It is pretty basic but it is good for a quick rough draft. GIMP is a good choice, but I'm still learning it.

Re: Team Standards Design

I personally used Google Docs Google Drawing feature. It has a fair amount of shapes and is pretty basic but it still works.

Team Standards Design

I haven't found a thread yet for all of the standards that teams have made to get suggestions. I have no background in design but I figured that I would take a crack at it. Everyone should post their...
