I'm trying to find out if any teams have full or partial sponsorship or some type of working relationship with a US Air Force Base. I'm trying to work a relationship with the base near us, but we...

Re: Tips for first time at champs?
I am a bit confused by the schedule. It doesn't show pits being open on Wednesday, but Qualifying matches start Thursday. When do you get to work on your robot?

[FTC]: Tank Treads
We are new to FTC and think that there may be a place for tank treads in this game. Have any FTC teams used tank treads from Tetrix, or do they tear up the field? Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Help with "El Toro" pickup
We're using the Banebots 775-18 and P-60 16:1 transmissions. We tried static motor mounting but stalled one or both motors or wouldn't pick up, so we put the motors on hinges with elastic. I'm not...

I've tried to figure it out on the Banebots site and can't. Do Banebots 1/2 shaft keyed wheels require shaft collars to keep them in place with their keys, or are there set screws on the wheels? ...

Re: Team UPDATE 1-21-2014
I agree with what MikeE is saying; all your wheels have to be within the GOALIE ZONE at the beginning of Autonomous. It will be close with one bumper in the wide kitbot configuration, but we're...

Re: Goalie zone confusion
Blue can drive into the red goalie zone, but their robot can not exceed 60 inches in height in the red goal zone, only in the blue goalie zone, and only one team robot at a time.

Re: 14 inch protrusion beyond frame
I don't see why it can't be deployed during Hybrid, say to tip the Coopertition bridge and get balls on your side of the field. The key is it has to be totally inside your perimeter when the match...
