Re: San Diego: Tech Foul in Finals
Brandon spoke for our team. Our team doesn't like the idea of our win being questioned because it was a hard fought victory. Having to win a match "on account of a penalty" is never optimal, but it's...

Re: 842 grabber and catapult
May I ask what compressor you guys are using? We are currently using the tiny viar compressor, but we know from previous seasons that it's just matter of time before it melts away. We are looking at...

Re: Clippard Reservoir Mount
In the past our team has used sections of PVC roughly the same size as your tank, cut a notch of about .75-1 inch in the piece and use it like you would use the brackets. You can mount them with a...

Re: Team 842 Testing Shots
What are the bore sizes on those cylinders? Can't tell if it's 1.5 diameter or 1 1/16. Looks identical to what we have gotten so far. Good job guys! Looks awesome!

Re: Non-sagging Bumpers Q&A Response
Our team has always used a spray on adhesive to hold the pool noodles onto the wood so that we could pull our fabric tight. Haven't had an issue with them sagging.

Re: Team 1266: The Devil Duckies Presents
The AM performance wheels we had didn't easily accept 2 sprockets, and with the amount of wear the center wheels usually endure when directly driven, we wanted a wheel that wouldn't have to be...

Re: Number of CIMs on Drivetrain
Torque is increased when adding more motors in the same way that it's easier to lift a heavy object with more than one person. When you have 2 motors i.e cims on one transmission, you are doubling...

Re: Shortening Cim Motor Axel
I can see the axle needing to be shortened if they are trying to fit it inside say a banebot or andymark planetary transmission. I don't see this as a strange question with that thought in mind.

Re: Shooter Issue
I'm sorry but i lol'd after reading this post. If you really wanted to run your wheel that fast (can't really imagine why) i would try using wheels with fastened tread (pop rivets, machine screws)....

Re: Uses of CIMS and associated reductions
I personally think this thread would be more interesting with motors that have more power i.e banebots or fisher price motors(which are the best motors ever imo).
