Realistically you should use them for demo's to sponsors and general funraising/PR etc :)
Humorously i think you could use them as pieces of designer furniture, how about using the robot from triple...

Very nice.
I just got back from volunteering at the local Regional. We had one very standout robot that managed a massive 360 points (apparently a national record) and had some very elegant solutions...

When i used to be involved in First there was aproject/dvd by team 341 called Team in a box, not sure if they are still doing it (i'm very out of touch :P)

Well, i'm disappointed, personally, i have never seen a segway in britain (only at new york regional in fact) and even i could ride that after about 5 minutes practise.
