You can have 11-1/4" wheels and still have a 3/4" wide continuous frame support/member fully supporting the bumpers with no gaps.... ;)

I'm not sure it's a problem. The drive sprocket for the tracks are right next to the transmission, and the output shaft is supported at both ends by a bearing.

We used to use unsupported...

Last time we used the skyway wheels was over 10 years ago. Keyed shafts and keyed hubs. We ordered the 9x3" with the bead-lok hub, but it isn't going to be easy to interface, and they are not...

The victor speed controllers should work with a transmitter/receiver, but the spikes won't work with R/c radios.

The Vex 6" Omnis will fit between the flanges, but the KOP spacers need to be changed. I just uploaded the adapter we used to adapt the KOP AM pulley to Vex omni, and space it so the belt clears....
