Where have teams been buying the analog devices gyroscopes from. I need a place that is relitivly inexpensive with cheap shipping.

I released the magic smoke from a servo durring prototyping, i tried running 2 servos together to perform a task not really suited for a servo ... end result smoking, heating up, melting of plastic....

RULE <R46> The last line says "Electric Solenoid actuators are prohibited from use" to that I say WHAT THE !?!?! its another added annoyance to overcome this year, its not a big deal but solenoids...

do you have any trouble turning with those wheels ? we use 4 traction wheels but have a differnt tread than that and we have found it quite difficult to turn let me know how those work for you....

You were correct, we are planing on using the stock FP Transmission... is there anyway you can order those hubs they gave us in the past that just fit in and have the flange on the outside end ?

Any one out there know of some quick and easy ways to adapt the fisher price transmission to 3/8" shaft or a sproket ? In the past first used to provide a hub we do not have any such thing this year...

What is the estimated or actual weight of the Chippua + Dewalt package? Including the servo for shifting. but not including any out put gears/or sprockets.

I mostly worried about the servo shifting. That seems like a possible week point in the design.
A few years back i remember a team (i belive 177 bobcat robotics, i may be wrong) taking the drill...
