Re: Being Proactive About Paper Airplanes on Einstein

Re: Is FRC giving high CG robots a free pass on defense?

Some of these situations could be mitigated by giving the refs some way to signal to a team causing another robot to nearly tip that from this point forward them causing a tip WILL be a red card for...

Re: [FUN] Recap and FRCTop25 with FRC118 Justin Ridley 4/11

I noticed you guys had your robot shooting from the lane 5 outerworks in practice at Lone Star. Did that have anything to do with gaining a positional advantage for defending opposing robots from...

Re: Tower Tracker 1.0

I would actually recommend doing your calibration in the HSB/HSV color space, as it separates color(H) from brightness(B/V) which means you can get a more robust calibration that will working in many...

Re: Your tall opaque robot is now illegal

Well, that's the entire reason we have our camera mounted on our claw that extends to 40". I guess we can move it down to our drive base if we notice the LRI is disallowing opaque 4'6" blockers.

Re: Greater Kansas City Regional 2016

Well, a quick and dirty solution would be to use Open Broadcaster Software to record the matches and have a secondary camera aimed at the scoreboard which you can then crop to only show the score and...

Re: IRI 2015 Webcast

I believe 1114 and 67 both got yellow cards for propping the chute door.

Update: And it appears that 234 just got one for humans entering the field too soon after the match was over.

Re: Booing 2 Championships during the top 10

Is voicing displeasure with a situation in a reasonable manner really disrespectful when born of the desire to see FIRST, the Championship, and STEM awareness improved and not degraded?
