Re: Mayhem In Merrimack 2009

No, but if you register too late (after a date which has not been determined yet), your team will not appear on the Mayhem in Merrimack 2009 shirts.

Re: Simple Team Number to IP Address Utility

Aha! I knew there had to be an easier way!
I've made a batch file to perform the same task, with some improvements: after setting the IP address, you will be prompted for another team number and your...

If, however, there is something I...

Re: Joystick Issues: Your input needed!

Are you sure the problem is with the joysticks and not the DS? Have you tried with other joysticks after you started experiencing problems?

We have used the ST290s with the DS without problems,...

Re: Time precision better than seconds??

If I recall correctly, pretty much everything having to do with time is doubles, so that you have millisecond resolution for the time, but it is measured in seconds. That is, 200 ms would be 0.2...

Re: Victor::Set not working

What's happening on the Victor? Does it have a solid light (set as neutral) or is it blinking (no signal)?

Try hooking up the console and creating print statements before *and* after the call to...

Re: Advice regarding travel in New Hampshire

I haven't heard of any ski transportation services being advertised and I couldn't find anything using Google. Your best shot may be trying to carpool with other people going to the same place. Ask...

Re: Decorative LEDs?

Synchronization could be achieved with a microphone and a little bit of coding. I have a few ideas as to how it could be done, but that isn't the point.
As long as you don't change your color to...

Re: Analog ultrasonic sensor class?

Whoops! I was coding this, but never had the chance to test it.
I've attached a .zip with the .cpp and .h. It compiles, but I'm not sure if it works, and the coding style is not completely in line...

Even with that, it would not work properly, assuming this code is executed often enough.
Joystick stick3(3);//obviously
Jaguar jag1(3);//PWM port 3
bool btn3state=0;
bool pwm3state=0

//The motor...

Try this:

left_stick = Joystick::GetStickfromPort(1);
right_stick = Joystick::GetStickfromPort(2);
float SetValue = 0;

while(isOperatorControll()) {
