Re: PCH 2017

Wow! The district certainly has grown from last year. Now no event has less than 35 teams. I remember Albany only having 25 last year. It's great to see Georgia FIRST grow.

How does your team go about scouting when it seems likely that you will be an alliance captain?

My team has never been an alliance captain so our scouting usually consists of mostly pit scouting...

Re: Crown Jewel of your Collection

Re: PCH 2017

I'm very surprised to see that 3600 Clockwork hasn't registered yet, last year they had a fairly large group and performed well. Strange how the steampunk themed team isn't in the steampunk game.

Re: GRITS 2016

Did anyone else not like the pit layout? It was kind of inconvenient for pit scouting and if the alliance you were on was queued on the complete opposite side from your pit. It got a little annoying....

Re: New Defense from Georgia FIRST - the movie

Re: GRITS 2016

Should be interesting to see how teams (mine included) approach the new defense without much practice. I hope it adds a new challenging element to the game and look forward to it.

Re: Location of Georgia District Events

Yeah, 4941 was planning to go to Columbus, but it was full when we registered for our second event and now we have to go all the way to Gainseville and deal with the Atlanta traffic on load in day....

Re: GRITS 2016

Will there be any practice matches before qualification matches to practice with the Log Roll?

Re: Recapping the 2016 Season in 6 words or less

Moment of silence for broken field.

The field in athens for the peachtree district champs kept breaking, so some drive teams took a knee to pay respect to the injured field.

Re: Registration 2016

So GA just moved to districts and we're guaranteed 2 events but 2 of the events are full and the other 2 are on the same weekend...
We are only registered for one event because of the situation...

Re: [FRC Blog] When is a Game Hint not a Game Hint?

Maybe the tent could be a new version of the tunnels on the field from breakaway?

Re: 2015 Lessons Learned: The Positive

O, my bad, we are still a fairly new team and don't know the requirements for awards outside of winning the competition.

Re: 2015 Lessons Learned: The Positive

In other words we didn't win spirit award and we were...

Re: Lowest Finals Scores

At my team's regional we never saw any fouls, and I never received a foul as an HP even though our main source of points was throwing noodles.
