Hotel rooms at champs.

Hi all,

I'm a 1678 alum flying down for St. Louis before championsplits. Does anyone have an extra spot in their hotel room for me to fill? It would be for Thursday and Friday nights...

Re: Feasibility of Design by Rookie team?

If I was in your position I'd try to have at least some form of solo scoring potential - such as a reversible roller intake for low goal scoring. A lot of teams won't want to worry about getting out...

Re: New Track Option

This looks illegal - there is a rule against studs or anything can/could damage the carpet. Check out R6 in the game manual.

Re: Stealing your opponents boulders

The mechanism to score stolen boulders would have to be incredibly robust - nothing is preventing their human player from introducing multiple balls at the same time. At the very least they can force...

Question >1 ball introduced at a time?

Rules G33 and G34 don't clarify if the human player is able to introduce more than one ball at a time. I know that robots cannot have possession of >1 ball at a time. Hope there isn't some explicit...

Question Most unused defense of 2016?

Since your alliance is forced to choose only 1 defense from each category, and your defenses should be as hard to breach as possible, it's seems clear that teams will pick the toughest defenses to...

Re: G28 + G11 seems broken

If I'm understanding this correctly - at this point there's nothing to prevent a red bot in the red courtyard in the last 20 seconds, running into a bunch of blue robots and give them all G11...

Re: 2015 Battle O' Baltimore (BoB) - Sept. 26

Doesn't this mean that teams near the top of the pack (but not at the top, for seeds #5-8 or so) will compete to get out of the top 8? Seems like a rule that lowers the ceiling instead of lifting the...

Re: 2015 Champs Predictions

NOBODY saw the 118-1678-1671-5012 alliance happening. Frankly I was shocked that 1671 was still available, but hey, I'm not complaining.

Re: 900's Championship Cheesecaking Chronicles

Immediately after 5012 was picked, 118 got to work putting their cheesecake on the back of the robot (dubbed "Bane"). They finished their cheesecake sometime during division semis, if I remember...

Re: 900's Championship Cheesecaking Chronicles

After all this argument, I am certain there is something we can all agree on.
From the 21-seconds-left noodling of one of 118's stacks to them pushing a piece of litter into the landfill during the...

Re: Predictions Championship 2015: Rush to the Finish & Top 25

if an alliance that has the fastest burglar in the world can figure out a way to get 234 points (ex. 20pt auto + 5 stacks of 6 totes + noodle), they will probably win it all.

Re: 2015 Champs Predictions

Really? From what I have seen, it is pretty reasonable to think that 1114 and 148 can use every single tote on their side of the field, especially since they are not capping all their stacks. 1114...
