I believe that they are actually "poor man's" omnis (regular KOP wheels covered with pool hose so they can slide sideways easily)... Although I was hoping to get away from using them :D

The OSHA weight limit for a two person lift is 150 lbs. That is the real reason why FIRST can't increase the weight limit.

No. the long white breakout board at the top of the picture is just the 1st generation prototype of the FPGA/ Digital Sidecar and will not be in the 2009 KOP. The smaller board on the left is the 2nd...

This bot was built using spare parts from FIRST's shop... It was only meant to be a sneak peak at the 2009 control system and in no way was meant to show what may or may not be in the KOP next year...
