Re: The Stereotyping of Successful Teams
On my time with WildStang, both as student and as a mentor, I have only been inspired and have always looked to 341 as a great team. I have a very deep respect for your team. Your team is one of my...

Re: Scouting at the championship
If you are capable of it, always scout. Even if you are not in a picking position you might be picked up by someone else and your data might have information that there's does not. In my experience,...

Re: Einstein Field issues Handled correctly?
But the problem is that based on the theory behind electromagnetic radiation we would have interference during ever major thunderstorm in lesser insulated buildings. Also if there was any major waves...

Re: Einstein Field issues Handled correctly?
There are a few problems here, wouldn't make sense that the entire stadium be electrically grounded in case of lightning striking the dome itself? Another concern would be based on the information...

Re: Einstein Field issues Handled correctly?
I am curious as to how it would be possible for electrical interference in an enclosed dome where there was no apparent power surges or outages. Not to sound rude but is that even possible?

Re: Einstein Field issues Handled correctly?
Based on the situation they should have taken a break (30-45 minutes) to correctly review the issue and to allow the teams to test their connections. Just allow the teams spectating and competing to...

Re: Einstein 2012
It is really hard to watch all of these matches. It is hard to even consider it a fair competition, and what is worse, the field issues or the Curie curse?

Re: Best Robots by Age
I want to clarify some details. WildStang's true rookie year was 1996. In 1992 it was only one school from our School District that had founded a separate team that had been retired after that last...

Re: Rookie Teams in Elims
This really is an issue that comes up each year. It really comes down to who is scouting and exactly what they are looking for in Alliance partners. As someone had pointed out earlier, it really...

Re: What happens when you are disqualified?
You should always bring your robot the field as long as it is safe to be around and to compete with. When you do receive a Red Card in a match it DQ's you from the match you were issued it.
