Re: pic: Road Rage 2
I guess to be totally fair to Karen, here is a picture that does her some credit (from the MOE Boosterz website, Karen is the one on the right):

Re: pic: Road Rage 2
That looks to me to be Karen, a MOE Booster. She has a fantastic ability to move through more facial expressions in a single sitting than I think I can even identify.
If I remember correctly, I...

Re: Competition and Jealousy
I can't believe someone hasn't brought this up yet: Our competition season is not the first four months of the year... and it is definitely not about winning a robot tournament. The whole reason...

Re: Robot Starting Positions
I wasn't attempting to imply that the ramp would be off limits - only that you had to touch the wall. That is to say that if you were in the far zone, your valid starting positions would be:
In...

Robot Starting Positions
As I interpret this, the robot that starts in the far zone could be touching only the ramp in front of the opposing alliance's goal (and NOT touching the alliance station wall) which will put you...

Re: Next Year's Game?
I'm not entirely clear on what you are getting at, but I believe you are trying to say that in the 2002 game with a restriction on robot-to-robot interaction limited to the bumper zone would make...

Re: Next Year's Game?
If contact had been limited to the bumper zones and all robots had bumpers, damage like this could have been avoided. Even last year (Overdrive) damage was limited a lot from previous years with the...

Re: Next Year's Game?
While the controller may be capable of doing it, the competition would need to move outside to get a good GPS link. Even then, the GPS accuracy with all of that EM and RF interference created by the...
