Don't use rigid couplings or pin shafts. Love joy 3 piece couples are great as are offset couplings.
The benefit is 2 fold, it gives you some wiggle room in case things aren't perfectly lined up...

This is the wrong way to look at it.
I LOVE good human player interactions, I think it makes the game more exciting. ESPECIALLY for the teams that maybe don't finish their robot or have the robot...
