Re: 301 points! and could have done more
For all you know, every team at the regional was trying to do the challenge throughout the weekend, the "legitimate" way (i.e. playing just like every other match and hoping both teams get 200...

Re: Hot Goal Timing Issues
The reason it appears that the hot goals are still lit in teleop is because the audio/video aren't synced. The audio is slightly ahead of the video.

Re: pic: Team 1592
Part of our issues early on were that we had designed this to fit a slightly smaller ball circumference than that of the balls at competition. This meant that the gatherer was either too far down or...

Re: 2014 Orlando Regional
I understand.
What I was trying to point out to the person I quoted was that just because it doesn't say an item is legal, that it is legal.

To further your second point, I would be highly surprised if there is not a clarification of this in tomorrow's Team Update.

Re: 2014 Orlando Regional
On the other hand, it never says you CAN use more than 1 robot battery.
If it doesn't explicitly say you are allowed to use more than one robot battery in any case (whether for power purposes or...

Re: 2014 Orlando Regional
You can park in garage D, F, or H.
Parking shouldn't be too bad provided you don't arrive after 9 am or so.
Not sure what the specific parking rules are, but be careful not to park in any spaces...

Re: Bumper Weight
You are allowed to put metal angle on your top and bottom bumper face.
Most teams use aluminum, but for weight purposes, I suppose you could use steel angle instead.

Re: Bad News and Extremely Unfortunate Timing
1592/801 Progress at the end of the day today:
1592's bot is nearly competition ready, just needs a few tweaks and sensors to be calibrated/installed.
801's bot is coming together quite rapidly....

Re: pic: Team 1592 Ultimate Ascent robot, Buzz.
On the back of the robot is a chamber that rotates between feeding the shooter as shown in the picture and straight out.
When it is straight out the back, it serves 2 purposes. It serves as a...

Re: PID Control for Jaguars with PWM?
Our team used CAN with our encoder plugged directly into the Jag at our first competition and were disappointed with the results. Tuning the PID values was a lot easier when we ran PWM directly into...
