Re: Quick OPR Question
Thanks for all the replies. Adding more data did the trick. To clarify, my mistake was assuming that the converse of "a diagonally dominant matrix is invertible" was true.

Re: Quick OPR Question
Here's a link to the raw data (each row is an alliance) and matrix. I'm not worried about the score vector, that is very straightforward. Team data comes from a master spreadsheet used for scouting...

Re: Quick OPR Question
Sorry if I was unclear, the matrix I am using is the square matrix from performing the lease squares estimate of the solution. To use your variables, I am solving A'Ax=A'b, and having trouble with...

Quick OPR Question
I'm toying around with calculating OPR, but I'm running into something of a road block. The matrix of team pairs is supposed to be diagonally dominant, and thus invertible, but I don't see how this...

Issue with Talons
Hi all, I was hoping to get some help with a strange problem with some Talons.
Tonight we decided to do driver tryouts with a simple robot consisting of a drive train with two CIMs to each side, all...

Re: Archimedes 2012!
Perhaps as a paper in CD-media? Wouldn't have the nice auto update feature a public Dropbox link does.

Re: The afterthought bridge manipulator
Team 20 had the same issue; our first design pushed down with 1 pound of force *facepalm*. It took 5 iterations, but our current design pushes down with over 140 pounds, weighs 3.5 pounds, and...

Re: 2012 Northeast Utilities Connecticut Regional
What an exciting weekend! Team 20 would like to thank our awesome alliance partners 195 and 181 for picking us. We know it was a crap shot to get picked after our sub-par performance on Friday...

It worked great for Team 20. It rarely failed, but we suffered from other problems.

Re: 2012 BAE Granite State Regional
From the little time I had to look at it, it was a problem at either the digital side car or the crio level. Good luck fixing it! If you need any help, Team 20 is more than happy to lend a hand.

Re: pic: Team 2791 Complete
That's really cool! I assume the usage is too much to have a compressor that keeps up, or the weight of a compressor gives enough tanks to hold the air for one match. Can't wait to see you guys at...

Right, we did that because we didn't have another robot to try it out with. We did get another robot this weekend, and found it to be quite easy. Unfortunately we didn't have two full weight...

Re: Have you balanced 2 robots yet
We placed a robot that was turned off at the bottom of the bridge, and had our practice bot push it up the bridge and balance, and they balanced pretty easily. Still need to do a lot more testing...
