What teams have improved the most in the shortest amount of time?

First off, let me sincerely thank 1114 and 195 for picking us and 1405 for being awesome alliance partners at IRI. We loved working with all of you and it was an incredible experience for our team....

Re: IRI 2016 Predictions

And we were in half of those. :P

In Q60, our alliance had a total of 22 high goals, so I'm saying a score over 300 is definitely possible in elims.

Re: IRI 2016 Predictions

That was quite possibly the most beautiful thing I have ever read.

Re: Robowranglers 2016 Season Recap

As much as I loved the beautiful robot action and slow-motion swaggering, I'm really curious as to what that trumpet and saxophone quartet was about. Does anybody know the story behind that, or...

Re: [FRC Blog] The 2016 Season, by the Numbers 2

225 is row 118. Everything matches up to a "t," except I have no idea why the system would think that we have a single, old Talon...

Re: Poofs Red Card Question?

Did the tethering happen after the field timeout, or started during the field timeout and continued once it ended? That would be grounds for a yellow card.

Re: Westtown MAR District Won on Eliminations Tiebreaker Rules

Well.

So was it ever actually explained to the audience? I quickly realized that the win was decided on foul points, but I was waiting for an announcement to be made to the audience and I don't...

Re: Is Stronghold the roughest game yet?

I would tend to disagree; over the past couple days at MAR Champs we got into many tough fights for boulders in the neutral zone, a couple of which severely incapacitated our robot (a particular...

Is Stronghold the roughest game yet?

Aerial Assist in 2014 was bad because of the crazy defense, but this year it seems like even the game itself is trying to break your robot. And not only do you have to deal with defense and the...

Re: Team 610 Store - Updated

Well obviously I get that 610 is the team number, but around here the phrase "THE 610" is used to refer to Philadelphia and/or Southeastern Pennsylvania because that is the area code for the area, so...

Re: Team 610 Store - Updated

So at the risk of sounding really, really dumb, can somebody explain this shirt to me? Is "the 610" referred to here a Canadian thing, or is it referring to Philadelphia? And what building is that?

Re: Westtown MAR District Won on Eliminations Tiebreaker Rules

Thanks for explaining why events running ahead of schedule need to get put back on schedule; I was wondering why they did that dance party.

And thanks, I'm certainly still proud of the win and how...

Re: 2016 CMP Grand Shirt Trading Thread

I have 15 TechFire 225 shirts for trade this year (I'll cross them off here as they get traded):
3 smalls
7 mediums
5 larges

I'm particularly interested in shirts from 33, 67 (I actually have no...

Re: How to change catapult shot strength?

I've never actually done this, but I would imagine you could easily have a variable release point for the catapult.

Re: Single Piece Bumpers

I'm fairly certain those angles are just what it ended up being. However, the reason we did angled corners like that all is (a) the octogonal shape gives greater area inside the frame perimeter, (b)...

Re: More advanced Software Ideas..

Sounds like the next step for the team would be motion profiled movement. We were essentially in the same position last year, and a college mentor a year out from the team taught me how to do that in...

Re: 20 point auto club

225 hit a couple 20 point autons at the Springside-Chestnut Hill MAR District last weekend, but video isn't up yet. It wasn't consistent because our shooter got beat up and the ball compression and...

Re: Undefeated Regional Winners Concurrently

Ah. 2013 was a year before my time and I was a total screw-off freshman year so I guess I got my stories mixed up :yikes:
