One counter strategy:

Opposing alliance deploys one of their bots (Defensebot) to play defense on your third robot, preventing your alliance from scoring anything during main phase of the game. Opposing alliance then has two bots to break through your defensive line. All the opposing alliance needs is one bot (Homebot) to break through the line, and stay there. The other bot (Runnerbot) runs tubes and drops then over your defensive line. Homebot uses home-zone advantage to score unimpeded. For end game, opposing alliance sends Runnerbot and Defensebot to deploy Minibots. Homebot stays in Homezone and doesn't move during end game to avoid hitting your defensive line, which may be on contact with the Towers.
