That usually means there is some network trouble between your laptop and the cRIO. Often it's not a connectivity problem, but just bad timing.
Simply trying it from a different computer sometimes works.
You can try hooking the two (cRIO and laptop) together different ways
- Turning off laptop network cards that aren't being used (The Imaging Tool could be getting confused over when network to try).
- Directly connect laptop to cRIO
- Alternatively, try connecting through a router, e.g., the D-Link that came in the kit. A router can somewhat smooth the network changes that the Imaging Tool makes to the cRIO.
