Our team used to have a mandatory 6 hrs a week during build season. Now its more like 12-15 hours (I get 30 hrs in a week) and we had to write an essay saying what we wanted to get done during build season, 5 people dropped because of the essay, another 2 dropped because of the hours. By the way we are a team of ~60 students and 10-15 mentors.
