Have you made sure you are building the project first? Right click it in the project explorer window and select "Build Project." If that doesn't work, try just closing Windriver and reopening it. We ran into the same problem where it wouldn't seem to build, and restarting Windriver fixed it.

*Edit: mikets is right, but if you're using an example project, that should have been done automatically. To check that, right click the project again, go to "Properties", and then "Build Properties"
