Sorry. This was deemed not critical enough to fix in the middle of build season by
Management. Fortunately there are 2 workarounds... implement the rate calculations yourself (high CPU burden and less accurate) or construct twice as many encoders as you need and only use the even ones (you can only decode half as many).
