the only thing that is a plus over windows is the easy of use. of course, that takes the fun out of setting up a linux system. the fact that it takes me an hour to set up windows, compared to a week for linux (gentoo at least) makes windows slightly better, but then i remember that gentoo is compiled for my system, and that it isn't going to crash anytime soon.
