I agree here 100%, this will be the cleanest way for you to collect your data. Just set up and excel sheet in a google doc. Also, FIRST has released a study just like this one, it is about 4 years old now. I would love to see the results of your study however. (FYI I'm addicted to statistics, both reading and conducting my own studies.
