Drilling rivet holes in wheel treads

We've struggled over the years drilling rivet holes in wheel treads. This year we made a jig. It almost works...still need to tweak the spacing on the holes at one end. We used a piece of C base channel, which a 1" tread fits into nicely. We put a piece of 1x1 1/8" wall aluminum square tube inside it, as backing. The channel is drilled with the correct spacing to make the rivet holes end up where they need to be on the treads.

Just thought I'd share this, if anyone can use it....
