If Figure 2 is a top view, then the vectors are shown correctly but the rollers are not.
If Figure 2 is a carpet view, then the rollers are shown correctly but the vectors are not.
If you have access to a mecanum robot, look at the rollers from the top. Then flip the robot on its side and look at the rollers from the bottom.
The pattern the rollers make is different.
