We did not modify the Dashboard in any way and are using out own code. We used the normal sendIOPortData method but we did edit the .cpp file a bit (following the instructions we found here:
http://tinyurl.com/InstructionsWeFollowed). I attached the main code and the extra .cpp that the DashboardDataSender needs.
