Ok first of all I should say that this is my first year programming, I have no mentors helping me, and no other people to help me understand. My teleop code is atrocious, it is absolutely horrible with while loops everywhere. Below I have attached my teleop vi and my attempt to fix it below. I have not had the chance to implement my "fixings" on the cRIO so I hope someone can look it over. Here is what I want it to do:
Drive in arcade mode.(works but I know that my old teleop is complete garbage for putting it into the loop)
Control the double solenoids with the press of one button. (Doesn't work, might be an electrical thing though. I am controlling a two coil solenoid with that code.)
When someone holds button two to have the window motor reverse. (Works in old junky teleop but if someone could lookover new one.)
When someone holds button three have the window motor go forward.(same situation as above.)
When someone holds button 6 to have the solenoid move forward and when someone releases to have it retract. It is a single coil solenoid. (Doesn't work in teleop because of the darned while loops I love to use.)
All the servo code doesn't work. It just points itself into one position and refuses to move.
I think that is all. I am new and alone so any examples you could provide would be a great help. Also I think we have to do a presentation tomorrow so the sooner the better
