We've been having a hell of a time trying to get the wireless to work with our robot. We are using Java with Netbeans. I am really not sure what the problem is so I'm just going to start listing things we have done and hopefully someone can tell us something we've missed.
Things we have done:
- Set up the DAP-1522 by following this
- Connected our ClassMate, Driver Station, DAP-1522, and cRIO like so:
ClassMate <--ethernet--> Driver Station <--ethernet--> DAP-1522 <--ethernet--> cRIO
Using this tethered connection, we can load new code onto the robot and control it just fine.
- Attempted to connect our ClassMate, Driver Station, DAP-1522, and cRIO like this:
Driver Station <--ethernet--> ClassMate <--wifi--> DAP-1522 <--ethernet--> cRIO
with no luck. The ClassMate connects to the DAP-1522, but the Driver Station says "No Comm".
Other things we have tried might be slipping my mind right now, as I am at home. One thing that I am NOT sure of is that we are using the correct Driver Station. Is the Driver Station
this object, or is it the Driver account on the ClassMate?
