Re: our solenoids are not working.

Your code looks okay, although the case statements are superfluous.
I assume the case statements just echo the button states in the False cases, too.

P.S.
Check the polarity of the solenoids connection to the solenoid breakout.
If the connector is reversed, the solenoid won't work as advertised.
