If the BAT light is off then you need to power your Digital Sidecar from the Power Distribution board off a 20A breaker circuit. If you believe you have done this you need to check the connections at the Power Distribution board, make sure you have a breaker inserted and check the polarity.

If it's the 5V light that is off then you need to securely seat the 37 pin cable in a powered cRIO and the Digital Sidecar.
