Also, to those trying to put linux on the new classmates: Good Luck. The only Linux we could get running was Chrome OS due to it's lack of hardware support. (we believe the wireless card hangs the kernel on most installs [tried ubuntu/debian/dslinux])

Hmm that's interesting. Our team got a new classmate too but when I re-imaged it I never got bsod. I used this years usb to re-image both the new classmate and the vetern one with no problems. Our new classmate is a E10IS model.
