Re: 2011 New Jersey Regional
We found a problem with our code near the end of the day, and got autonomous working at 9:50 while they were trying to shove us out the door.
The problem that was causing our robot to not move was that we were using the built-in Disabled() function to reset our pistons when we disabled the robot, but since the robot starts off disabled it would attempt to reset the pistons...which never got a chance to be declared. We'd get an error, and lose all comms while the cRIO crashed and reset itself. The next time we enabled the robot, the code would work because everything was declared. This problem has been plaguing us for a long time now, I'm so glad we fixed it. You guys are up for a surprise tomorrow, I think. I have high hopes for my team.
Good luck!
