That's easy to say. However I would ask that you take a step back and look at the overall job that inspectors do at an event.
All of us would LOVE to begin inspecting teams robots at 8:30AM on Thursday. The reality is that many (not all) teams at an event view inspection as a second thought.
As I'm sure you've noticed at competitions you've attended the inspection queue really starts to get crazy at around 2:00PM on Thursday and by that time we inspectors have already created a hit list of teams that need extra attention.
These issues are only magnified at Week 1 Regionals.
Volunteering at an event will definitely open your eyes to how things really work.
I guarantee that you will bring back some improvements to how your team operates after your event volunteeer experience.
